Here are just a few of the locations used in some of the post popular films of recent years

1. Notting Hill: The famous blue door isn't there anymore but Hugh Grant's travel book shop, which is really is an antique shop, can be found at 142 Portobello Road, W11.

2: Mission: Impossible: Locations through out London's County hall were used in the filming of the movie. It was used to stand in for the CIA headquarters. Also, when Tom Cruise uses a public telephone in a railway station that is Liverpool Street Station.

3. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels: The gangs hideout can be found on Park Street, SE1. See this one quickly though because this wonderfully unmodernized street is up for being redeveloped.

4. Goldeneye: The scenes that were meant to be inside St. Petersburg were actually filmed at Draper's Hall, Throgmorton Street, EC2.

5. Harry Potter: Gringott's, the bank run by goblins was filmed inside Australia House, the Australian Embassy. The London Zoo was used to film the bits where Harry and the Dursley's go to the zoo to celebrate Dudley's birthday.
